How we work: from brief to files

Brief, sketches, refinement, files. You know the price before we start, projects under $1,000 are paid on completion, and you talk to the same person from start to finish. We show each step below with your name; just type it in.

Send a brief

Step 1: Brief

A form or a 30-minute call. Whichever you prefer. Tell us what you do and what you’re looking for. We’ll reply with the scope, price and timeline. We stick to the price unless you change the scope.

  • To start, all you need is: your company name, two sentences about what you do and a few examples you like. No spec needed.
  • Formalities: a brief and an email, no paperwork. We’ll prepare a contract, an NDA and a copyright transfer if you need them.

Step 2: Proposals

First versions. Something to look at already. For a logo, you get 3 sketches. You pick one or combine several. Nothing fits? We keep drawing, up to 12 at no extra cost. We design a website in Figma and show it to you before the build starts. You get a flyer, a post or a presentation first as a draft for your feedback.

  • You comment: on the design, by email or on a call. Whichever is easier for you.
  • You see it all: the mark on a business card, a sign and a phone, not just on a white background.

Step 3: Refinement

We finish the chosen direction. We finalize the colors, typefaces, logo versions and examples of use. For a website, also the content, photos and the mobile view.

  • Revisions: at the design stage, before anything goes to print or online. Not on a finished print run.
  • Colors: in CMYK for the printer, in RGB and HEX for screens and the website.

Step 4: Files and launch

All the files. Final payment on delivery. You get files for print and web, plus a presentation on how to use them. We write the website in code and hand you the keys: you change content in the content editing panel or in WordPress.

  • Formats: SVG, PDF, EPS, PNG and JPG, in all colors.
  • After delivery: the files stay with you. Coming back with another project? We’ll start from what already exists.

Before I generate anything, I look into your industry, do research, see what works in your market and how it operates, and look for what can be done better. Then I filter and refine, and only that goes to you. The know-how stays, and AI lets us deliver the result much faster.

The price? AI doesn’t raise it; it just shortens the way to the first version. You won’t get quick, pointless generations from us :)

Where you stand

  • $0upfront under $1,000

    Under $1,000 there’s no deposit: you pay when the files are ready. Larger projects: 50% upfront, the rest on delivery.

    Three to start, more up to 12 at no extra cost. You don’t have to settle for “almost right.”

  • 1 pricebefore we start

    We set it in the quote before we begin. If the scope doesn’t change, the invoice shows the same amount.

  • 1:1from brief to files

    You talk to the designer, not to someone who passes your feedback on later.

Files and rights in writing. You get a full set of files for print and web. We transfer the economic copyright by contract if you need it. An NDA too.

From brief to files you talk to him directly: he replies to your brief, shows you the sketches and prepares the files.

Lorenc Studio is a design studio in Silesia, Poland. We work remotely for companies across Poland, Europe and the US. Industries we’ve designed for (9): services, uroda i zdrowie, przemysł i energia, handel, technologia, edukacja, finanse i prawo, gastronomia, real estate.

Tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, Figma, AI tools (research, variants, mockups, prototypes and website code), WordPress, Google Workspace, Notion.

How many logo sketches do I get?

Three to start. If none of them hits the mark, we keep drawing, up to 12, at no extra cost.

What form will the files come in?

The full set: vector files (SVG, PDF, EPS) and raster files (PNG with transparency, JPG), in color variants, for print and for the web. You also get a presentation with usage rules, so nobody stretches your logo on a sign.

Do you use AI?

Yes, as a tool: market review, variants, mockups, website prototypes. We finish the mark, typography and print files by hand. You won’t get a logo from a single prompt, and the price doesn’t change.

Do you transfer copyright?

Yes, if you want. Transferring the economic copyright requires a written contract that lists the fields of use, so we prepare it before we start, not after the fact.

Can I edit the website myself?

Yes, that’s the point. We write the website in code, and for editing you get a content editing panel ($90 net) or a WordPress connection. A photo, opening hours, a new post: you change it yourself, without a developer.

How do you bill for the work?

Simply. We set the price before we start. Under $1,000, you pay when the work is done; above that, 50% upfront and the rest when you get the files. Payment is by bank transfer against an invoice.
